Mid Century Inspirations
A young professional couple appointed us for a turn key property renovation to create a home which would accommodate a growing family. The design brief was to develop a unique and fresh scheme marrying Mid Century inspirations while preserving the Victorian architecture of the building. We were responsible for the design, tender and project management and we worked with structural engineers to ensure the planning process was adhered to.
Multi-purpose rooms
Following the initial analysis of the house, we determined that the master bedroom is moving to the first floor at the front which benefits from high ceilings and a beautiful bay window. The next door office was turned into a bedroom that will become a nursery and a small bedroom at the rear was improved by removing the chimney breast and turned into the master bathroom. A small WC was enlarged and fitted with beautifully bespoke joinery to hide the laundry room. Allocating functions and rooms with limited space always presents a trade off and we work with clients in great detail through various options of space planning to find the balance that will best serve their lifestyle ahead.

Aesthetics play an important part in the process of Claudia’s designs; the quality of workmanship in a piece of furniture, its purpose and how it strikes a harmonious balance within the scheme. Claudia’s aesthetic emerges from a careful process of editing and the creative absorption of inspirations sourced from her background, her travels, her love of art and cultures and from the world all around us; combining old with new and crafting a scheme to the owners’ personalities and life story so that each finished home has its own STORY; it feels evolved naturally over time and can never be dated. Claudia’s passion is to help clients with all aspects of their home’s interiors, from small one-off commissions to designing and furnishing a new-build home. Our MISSION is to add value to a client’s property and to make people’s lives better through an uplifting and practical living experience in their homes.
Claudia will discuss with clients the depth and breadth of services we can offer. Some clients book an initial Colour Consultation and then add further services in stages as the project develops, in other cases, we join a project at the outset as interior designers with a team of architects, contractors, and other specialists.
